The LaunchPad event is where anyone with an idea can pitch their business to a group of judges. In return, successful participants gain from expert mentoring, guidance, financial support and more.
CONFERENCES
Join the Nottingham Entrepreneurs for our series of 5 conferences.
Gain valuable insight into what it’s like to run a business in 2019 by learning about 5 key characteristics that an entrepreneur needs. We'll end the series of conferences with a networking event.

CHARLES KERR
PRESIDENT
Charles is a second year Management student. In addition to Nottingham Entrepreneurs, he also runs a social enterprise called RentAll which rents out entertainment products such as TVs to students who cannot afford the upfront cost of the items. His aim this year is to develop and grow the society to continue to be the most ambitious society at the University. In his free time he works on website design, plays tennis and is a member of Enactus Nottingham.
ANOOP ANILKUMAR
VICE-PRESIDENT
Anoop is currently a third year Finance, Accounting and Management. His role is to make sure that all the events run smoothly contacting speakers for events, communication with other societies and also coming up with new ideas for events for the members in the future. Anoop is an active individual and represent many firms in the society and so he has access to a wide range of networks. Anoop is also a fitness enthusiast and follows a consistent plan to achieve the best results that he can. Anoop is also a passionate Arsenal Fan.
CALUM SMITH
HEAD OF MARKETING
Calum is a third year politics student. This summer he worked as intern on the Hillary Clinton campaign in Miami, Florida. His job was all about promoting the Clinton brand to voters and volunteers. He really enjoyed the marketing and communication aspect of the role and this led him to join the Nottingham Entrepreneurs as marketing Director! His ultimate aim is to run his own business - so that he can buy Newcastle United football club and restore it to its former glory.
